Fresh, firm and sweet, these Pacific Northwest Dungeness crabs are brought to you by our own boats. The commercial crabbing season generally starts in early December and runs through mid-August. During this time our crews are hard at work harvesting and selecting only the best crab for your consumption. The crab shown here is an "average" crab as compared with an average $20.00 bill. it weighs about 1 3/4 pounds. For those of you that have never tried Dungeness crab, you're in for a real treat. They're already cooked, so eat 'em cold with a little cocktail sauce, or, warm 'em up and serve 'em with drawn butter . Either way, it's a homerun! For those of you who live on the east coast, these should not be confused with Blue Claw crabs. The Dungeness is much larger and full of succulent meat. They are easy to "pick" and will make you a meal that you'll never forget. You may never go back to New England Lobster!
